Crap gotta update tha blog.
This week has been pretty good. Uni is boring at the moment, because I don’t have much teaching work to do. Most afternoons I end up surfing the internet and trying not to fall asleep. The kids are still a bit difficult, but I don’t take any crap so I’m doing OK. I played some Halo with the computing class on Friday afternoon and that was the most fun thing I’ve done at school yet - despite being constantly teamkilled because I was the teacher :)
Other than that, I’ve been putting together job applications (there is A LOT of work to do when you’re applying for 3 jobs per week) and watching The Wire from a set of dvds that Rin sent over from Sydney. The Wire is pretty good, by the way - but not everyone’s cup of tea because it’s a bit slow.
I’ve also been trying to do more creative writing (although that, in itself, is a tired and unoriginal sentiment, so you’d be forgiven for thinking right away that I have no talent). The bits I’m writing are short, so that I can finish each one quickly and have something to be proud of. Most of them are straight-out fictional essays or letters, not even stories. Weird stuff inspired by Margaret Atwood. I’ll let you know how it goes.

OK, I’m seriously thinking about NaNoWriMo this year. Seriously.
