Wooo! ANd also CRAP!
I just got offered a job at a junior high in Mandurah, and it’s a 90% probability that I’m taking it. I’ll probably have to start Tuesday. Here’s the pro and con:
Pro: MONEYZ; it’s a small school so it should be easy to get to know the kids and develop a reputation as a tough teacher; it’s in the metro area; jobs are rare this year.
Cons: it’s still 50min by car which will suck; it’s a poor area so the kids will be difficult to work with; I have no idea about the programs that I’m supposed to be teaching; it’s a junior high so I’ll have to move again in one or two years in order to teach senior school.
But obviously, the moneyz is the important thing here. I’ll let you know how it goes!

You have no idea about the programs you are teaching? Are you doing something outside of science?

3 x science, 1 x yr 8 maths, 1 x health. Even the science programs vary too much to anticipate. I’m also thinking that list of classes will put me over graduate load, so there may be some negotiation tomorrow ;)

Is health a euphemism for sex ed? Cause I would pay to see you teach that class.
