A Girl And Her Hamster

By A.M. Muffaz

A girl and her hamster
Sit alone in shadowy alcoves
They are in love with each other
As mother and child are in love with each other
They watch nothingness together
She the smell of her fur
Her the touch of the womb
For them life is the moment that
Just passed by.

Oreo cookie smiles
These two listen to things
That no one else recognizes
Because it is too silent for others;
But that does not mean they are mute,
Or deaf to mundane ways
Only sharper in senses.

  1. Oi! I knew I forgot to write someone. ;)
Er, mind if I ask what inspired the domain name?

  2. The meaning of Twisted Hamster? Well, I wish I could say I had some deep connection with hamsterkind, but I just picked it because it was cute and, well… twisted. If you google it, you’ll see it used to be a design company name - if you go for random/weird, you can bet a design company or a record label has already beaten you there.
