Thinking Queensland:
Listening: Prince - Cream
Hmm, university application notices are coming in now - it looks like University of Queensland and University of New South Wales both want me, but I’m holding out for Monash, which is at least in Melbourne, a place where I can scam accomodation, food and other goodies off my relatives. But I’m preparing for the worst, as is my habit. I will console myself with the fact that they pay you more in Queensland - presumably because there is nothing to do there but nail syphillitic hookers in the alleyway behind Uncle Pete’s Adult Bookstore (an expensive pastime to say the least).
No, I’m only kidding. It can’t be that bad.
So, like, where the hell is Saint Lucia, and how many camels will I need to travel there?

It’s nice to keep your blog upbeat. Good to see that you’re doing that!
Also, which blog software was I sending you info about? The stuff I use, or something else?

Nah, it was something with an automatic preview feature. Something new, I think.

Interesting… no idea! I’m drawing a blank at the moment… let me think more. If you see a cloud, don’t stress too much.

I remember now! It was textpattern. http://www.textpattern.com
There are scripts to import from wordpress and the like if you’re interested in trying it out.
Not sure how easy designs are to port across though.

St. Lucia is about five minutes away from where I live (just south of Brisbane), so you can scam food and syphilitic hookers from me, if you like. UQ has a great campus - I went to the open day last year.
Come to Queensland - it’s nice, and, uh, quiet, and stuff.

Well if you put it that way…

St Lucia is a great spot. I went to university in Brisbane - Griffith University - and I thought it was a good place to study. Located on the river, you can live North or Southside and still be close to uni. It’s a bit of a bitch without a car, though, as you have to rely on buses and trains to get to the city. As for Sydney? Well.. after a year in Perth, I’m back in Sydney… and I think Sydney’s terrific too!!

I spent a weekend in Brisbane once. I decided that I need to go back and spend some more time there, because it was really nice and I didn’t have long enough to explore it thoroughly.
