What’ll I write / in the blog to-nite?

gotta take a slash. Wait.
Okay. I’m taking a few days off work for RSI / laziness / holiday reasons and am discovering new realms of boredom. The most interesting thing today that didn’t take place on TV was me signing up at the Newtown public library. I’ve given up practising guitar because it’s not compatible with having enough strength to type the next day.
On the upside, if you’re looking for a singer and your band is absolutely intent on failure, I’m yr man.
I’m also trialling a new haircut that, following the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze, is an ‘event’, rather than a reified structure. You can’t define or categorise it, it just happens when you mix in a certain amount of gel and go the scrub with a hairbrush.

Just start an electroclash act. A couple of clicks on fruityloops (won’t set off rsi too much or you can always get an 80’s pop song on .mid, record it in wavelab and pitch it down a couple of notes to make it your own), some ironic lyrics and it won’t even matter you can’t sing! Sucks about guitar though - you’re sooooo Mick Mars (Motley Crue dude with, like, diseases) right now. And you rule at guitar. Stop having rsi! It’s not fair! :) Have you considered theremin?

Haven’t considered theremin at all - but listening to these Service Station Youth tracks is inspiring me to at least cause some form of aural pain to random people. Thanks for your concern & yeah, getting better slowly.

Thats so sad, as Tom says, you rock at guitar, especially your solo.
Maybe you could re-string your guitar as a left handed guitar (you are after all a lefty normally) and use your other hand/wrist.

Nah, Morgan - I can’t play for crap left-handed. Tomas suggested to me that I should go electronic and I think that’s the best direction. Get me some samples, etc.
