The Latham Diaries.
This Latham thing. Everyone just says what you think they’d say. If there were a grain of truth in circulation, you wouldn’t notice it.
So why the excitement? Isn’t it just to maintain the illusion that what people say has a meaning?

The excitement comes from it being a book that people might actually want to read before it hits the bargain bins.

I love politics (and diaries) but I won’t be buying it.

The excitement is due to the fact that the diaries prove just how close we came to electing a genuine nutter to the highest office in the land.
Insanity is insanity and it can cross all political stripes. The biggest question is how a crazy man became leader of the ALP. I shudder to think what would have happend had he been elected.
