					<description>I used to live opposite that salon, in the apartments above the furniture shop on the other side of the road.  It did used to open then, but the hours were a bit eccentric.  Often there were film crews or photographers using the exterior or interior for shoots.  With a minimum of dressing it can still pass as '40s or '50s.  Cool place.  The lady who owned it was very eccentric.  To you remember the cat pics in the window with their tongues poking out, alongside a pic of John Howard doing the same?  I loved her ever since that day.</description>
