Hooray! Firefly is pretty good. I hope you watched the pilot first, not ‘The Train Job’ first. Stupid WB. And how much do you want to learn Chinese now, eh?

Boof - Yeah, you’d have to be a bit dumb to run Train Job first. But do they really speak Chinese, or is it just gobbledygook that sounds Chinese? Because they don’t seem to offer translations in the subtitles…

It’s totally Chinese (or as close to it as people who don’t speak Chinese are gonna get). Wikipedia (source of all knowledge) has some translations. I think they don’t translate it in the subtitles, because they are supposed to be super rude.
Is that anywhere near Hilton? I went to Hilton once. We got lost, so we started drinking the wine we’d brought on the way. That didn’t really help us find our way.

Boofuls - Wikipedia is very underrated. I especially like River’s Chinese ‘please god make me a stone’ bit in the movie, which kinda rhymes in Chinese.
Near Hilton? Nup. It’s near Poonshead Studios, near Point Walter and sort of near the Freo bridges.
