Mark’s First Law

Mark’s first law:

‘If something’s worth doing, it’s worth being really bad at.’

I think that talent is usually wasted on people who don’t deserve it - good looks as well. So if you want something, you shouldn’t let clumsiness, stupidity or a general lack of aptitude get in your way. Dare to suck. That’s my motto.

  1. If you need any coaching, I suck at the following things:

    skateboarding
    gambling
    tennis
    dancing
    omlettes
any video game which takes more than 2 minutes before you shoot someone
    moderate drinking
    demolishing 1970’s BBQs
    paragraphs without any subordinate clauses
    wheelies
    ironing
    finishing off lists
