pfft. boring.
Today I rearranged the middle part of my thesis. It’s a total chaos now, but the notes are there on how to put it all together. Oh so many, many notes. It’s like building IKEA furniture from really vague diagrams with half the parts not having been invented yet.
This afternoon I will forget about that and type out a short story I have written and send it to Voiceworks. They story is pretty urban and ‘real’ so they might like it. It’s about two girls who are best friends but are always trying to stab each other in the back.

Sounds like a typical high school friendship between two girls.
You should post it here Markus.

Heh, heh, heh, writing a thesis *is* like making up furniture from IKEA. I like the way you think.

Literally trying to stab each other in the back or actually trying to stab each other in the back? I love the irony of the latter, RE: Lucy’s comment.

I’ve found myself staring at notes I’ve written about stuff I’m working on and wondering what the hell I was talking about or where I was going with an idea. It’s like living with a crazy person, in. your. head! :)
I hope you don’t do this to yourself, too. Good luck with your ‘furniture directions’ and your story.

Lucy & Ross - Yes, I will. And there is a bit of attempted stabbing in there, now I think of it.
Liz - Oh I am full of analogies about thesis writing. I prefer to sit and think of them when I should be thesis writing.
Winter - Nah, my multiple personalities are all pretty sane. Dumb, but sane.

I enjoy collecting VOICEWORKS. Must get around to reading some of the actual issues though.
