My new short story, which is called ‘GIVE THEM DIGNITY’, is here. It’s basically a fable where the story may or may not contradict the moral at the end - I’ll let you decide. (Oh and the title is a reference to Slaughterhouse Five, but you don’t need to get that.)

Great story! Love the two female characters, and their relationship to one another. Funny, I think a lot of female friendships could fall into this classification. Not necessarily as violent, but definitely with the subtle (or sometimes not so subtle) digs at one another. I had a friend in high school that was always doing things behind my back to try and make me look bad. Needless to say, we are no longer friends.
Ever publish any of your stories? Do you have anymore that we can read?

Hey, I read your story, and I thought it was really good. The whole endless cycle of back stabbery is so believable. It really hits the essence of every female ‘friendship’ of this type that I’ve seen personally. And that sort always comes back for more!
So do you write a lot of stories then?

Hey guys, thanks for the props. There is another story under the URL below, and oldish one called THIS IS A SCI-FI STORY. It really isn’t a sci-fi story though, so don’t get your hopes up.

Cool-o. Liked that one too. Outside of my blog, I write very rarely and am usually too embarrassed to share it with anyone. Glad you shared with us! =)

Duuuude, David Santos has spammed us ALL!
Anyway.
I liked the second story as well. The sub-story about the boy’s astronaut father plays into my love of old school sci-fi (like early Bradbury, Martian Chronicles style of thing). I like the old stories that were written before we knew that there weren’t Mooninites or water in the canals of Mars.
Thanks for sharing, I love reading other people’s work. Espcially since I’ve really started writing again. I think I’d like to share some of mine, but I’m kind of shy about it.

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. Wanna put up any of your own stories?

I read it ages back, but I didn’t have time to comment then. I like your style. I think you should write more. And then I think you should post them here. And then I think you should compile them into a book. I would buy that book, and it would totally sit on my bookshelf.

Thanks Lizzy. As usual though, I’m not sure about your taste…

I have a story, but I’m hesitant to post it. I like how you have a separate link to yours. I’m quasi retarded when it comes to html, so I don’t know how to do any of that stuff. But I’m working on it. Maybe I’ll just email it to you first and see what you think?

Okay. Go right ahead. In fact, I’ll send you an email so you have my address.

I have a couple to share, one of which I’ve managed to finally track down the notebook it’s in. I’ll get it typed up and linked up directly.
