So what *was* the deal with the potential blog meetup?
First, news: I wrote the first user review of Bleach on iTunes. You think someone would have gotten around to it before me, but nup. I r0×0r.
Now: we were going to have a blog meetup separate from one that’s happening tomorrow. Glen and I were thinking Tuesday night at Kelly’s Irish Pub in Newtown, but maybe Shelley can’t make Tuesday. So that brings me to conclude that the 14, 15th, 21st or 22nd of May are good dates. The other issue is whether anyone will really come apart from Glen and James and me. Cos if they didn’t, it would be pretty lame. I don’t know. Discuss it in the comments and get back to me.

Transformers movie?
You’re right, I can’t make this Tuesday [my mum will still be here and I will still be being dutiful].
As for the others, at this stage I still work until 8 very night - though with my boss this could change once I’m back at work. Speaking of, I’m no longer going to be working Saturdays as of soonish which kind opens up Friday & Saturday nights for me. Friday & Saturday nights always suited Rinna and Misha better anyway.
Um, that’s about it.

Okay, well that’s good. Why don’t you run this stuff by Rinna and Mish then, and see if they want to come? I don’t know Rinna very well and getting hold of Mish is a fine art that I’ve far from mastered.

How the hell did you find this post? Random :) Anyway, I’m already going to that one - hell, James, Glen and I organised the very first Sydney meetups back when Grogblogging was the main game. But some people we know aren’t going, so we’re making our own independent meetup as well. If you’re there tomorrow, do say hi.

Dude, you use to love transformers, your collection was way bigger than mine. And, I am pretty sure your mum took us to see the movie when we were four. You need to get back in touch with your inner child. What’s changed?
BTW - Is there a new movie? Can someone fill me in?

Anyhow, the previews look like the new Transformers will be a kids’ movie and not something I’d want to watch. Movies like that are always so predictable, and I can’t see it even being nostalgic or kitsch - just another CGI showoff movie. I’d rather rent the video of the original, really.
