Yesterday three people failed to give way to me within the space of half an hour. I think my bright yellow reflective cycling vest does not work very well, but I still hope it at least makes people feel stupid for not seeing me. Because they are.
Other things I have done this week are read some books entitled The Philosophy of Withcraft and Sexuality, Magic and Perversion (neither of which I could be bothered finishing, although the latter is fun to flick through), and join Facebook. Facebook is like myspace but all gadgety and cool. If you friend me we can send each other virtual pets or something. But I mostly just want people to look at my profile list of favourite music and books so everyone knows how awesome I am. Because I am.

I think facebook sucks but that might be because I am a loser and only have like six friends.

Maybe motorists are not giving way to you because you have the temerity to wear a bright yellow vest while you cycle. Go figure.
What does this list of music and books consist of? Defend this awesomeness you speak of!!!

Shelley - Hey, I only have three. You’re twice as popular as me then.

Oh you are so very young!
I’ve been on there ages and have [I counted] 8 people. Yes, I am a loser- oh wait, you already knew that.

I thought that by wearing the fluoro yellow attire you gained instant respect. For real. I wear it at work sometimes and I automatically have some kind of authority. It’s weird because when I look in the mirror I think I look like one of those garbage collectors.
Maybe you need to combine your fluoro with those flashy lights that some cyclists use.

Maybe I *should* use my lights during the day. But I don’t want to come off as touchy, you know? Even though I am.
