So what’s been going on recently? Not a great deal. The only remotely interesting thing is that this seems to be the week of electrical things breaking. My bedside lamp died, I tore out a power point off the wall, an energy-saving globe broke the light in my ceiling fan and a fuse blew. I haven’t even put the rest of the energy-saving globes in yet so I expect more trouble. Plus my friends took back the washing machine they gave me. And I stepped on a bit of glass in the carpet. And I have a cold. And I have to wash everything by hand now.
OK so this has just turned into a general ‘woe is me’ rant hasn’t it? It must end.
